AALS Annual Meeting

Association of American Law Schools serves two purposes: it serves law schools and deans as their institutional membership organisation and law school faculty and administrators individually as their learned society. AALS offers extensive professional development opportunities, including the AALS Annual Meeting which attracts thousands of faculty, administrators, and deans. More than 100 sections provide mentorship for new faculty and offer programs to engage faculty and deans throughout the year. They also serve as a resource for discussion on key legal issues, including taxation, antitrust, dispute resolution and criminal justice. The association hosts a conference for faculty, a conference for recruitment of faculty, and a workshop to help new law teachers.
