Bay Area Book Festival

Each year, we host a literary extravaganza that is world-class and takes place in Downtown Berkeley for two days. Our programming, which includes 250-300 authors across 15 stages, can be accessed with a $15 pass. The Outdoor Fair, which features literary vendors, children's activities, and family fun is completely free. We have hosted more than 1,250 speakers from across the country, including the Bay Area, California, the United States, and the world. Our international contingent is the largest of all U.S. book festivals. We have delighted more than 125,000 book-lovers from all ages since our inception. The magic of BABF doesn't stop at weekends.
