We will trek through forested hills and gradually ascend to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly resided by Gurungs and Magars. On the way, you will trek past small settlements like Birethanti, Syauli Bazar, Chimrung, Chane, Kimche, and others. Cross suspension bridges and trek through lush rhododendron forests. Leaving Ghandruk, we will trek to Sinuwa. The trail first ascends to Chhomrong Danda and continues along a downhill route to Komrong Khola. From here, we will ascend to Chhomrong village via lush forests. It is a big village. Further, the trail descends to a river and follows an uphill route that leads to Sinuwa. On the way, we will get to see stunning mountain views. Trekking distance: 13 km/8 miles Altitude: 2,360 m/7,742 ft Duration: 6 hours Accommodation: Guest House Meals: Breakfast & lunch Day 5 : Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali. The trail goes through lush forests from Sinuwa to Deurali. Starting the trek from Sinuwa, we will trek past settlements called Bamboo and Dovan. The trail also goes through Bamboo forests. If you are trekking in the spring season, the trail blooms with hundreds of rhododendrons and many other wildflowers. On the way, we will also trek past a beautiful waterfall. Trekking distance: 14 km/8.6 miles Altitude: 3,230 m/10,59 7ft Duration: 6 hours Accommodation: Guest House Meals: Breakfast, lunch & Dinner Day 6 : Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machapuchare Base Camp (3,700 m/12,139 ft). Today, we will be reaching the Annapurna base camp. We will leave Deurali early in the morning. Following a river bed, the trail ascends to Bagar. From here, we will walk for a few hours before reaching the Machhapuchhre Base Camp. It is a virgin mountain, which no one has climbed yet. Here, we will take a short lunch break and continue trekking on a steep, rugged trail. The trail enters the Annapurna Sanctuary and gradually ascends along rocky, glacial terrain to the Annapurna base camp. We will be surrounded by tall mountains all around us at the base camp. Trekking distance: 7.7 km/4.7 miles Altitude: 4,130 m/13,549 ft Duration: 5 hours Accommodation: Guest House Meals: Breakfast, lunch & Dinner Day 7 : Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo. After a warm breakfast, we will leave the Annapurna base camp and trek back to Bamboo. Following the same trail, we will descend to Machhapuchhre base camp and keep descending via lush forests to Bamboo. On the way, we will enjoy lovely landscapes and mountain panoramas. Trekking distance: 14 km/8.6 miles Altitude: 2,310 m/7,578 ft Duration: 6 hours Accommodation: Guest House Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner Day 8 : Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda . From Bamboo, we will follow a different route and descend to Jhinu Danda. The trail goes through dense forests and uneven hillsides. We will trek past Khuldighar and then Chomrong village. Further, trekking past a lovely sheep farm, we will reach Jhinu Danda. Here, we can enjoy natural hot springs by paying a few extra bucks. Trekking distance: 8.5 km/5.2 miles Altitude: 1,780 m/6,393 ft Duration: 3/4 hours Accommodation: Guest House Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner Day 9 : Trek to Nayapul (1,070 m/3,510 ft) and drive to Pokhara. Today is our last day of trekking. From Jhinu Danda, we will descend following a dusty road. We will be following the Modi Khola. It is an easy descent to Nayapul. From here, we will use a local jeep and drive back to Pokhara. We will spend the night in Pokhara, relaxing and enjoying our time here. Trekking and drive distance: 13.7 km/8.5 miles Altitude: 822 m/2,697 ft Duration: 1.5/2 hours drive & 3 hours trek Accommodation: Hotel Meals: Breakfast & lunch Day 10 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
