The Centre For The Study Of Caste & Capitalism is a section 8 not-for-profit company, incorporated on 13th August 2015. It works with businesses large and small, private and public, to promote a just and sustainable economy in India in which all members and communities participate, benefit from, and contribute to.

The role of business, it believes, is to create and deliver products and services in a way that treats people fairly and justly; and, encourages market and policy frameworks that enable an inclusive future. It sees its role in catalyzing changes within businesses by integrating inclusive practices into strategy and operations and supply chains through consulting, research, and collaboration.

It strengthens the factors essential for the growth of entrepreneurship at the bottom of the class and caste pyramid, especially the SC-ST SME segment. It believes that entrepreneurship based on the plentiful skills that the Dalits possess is an important means to mainstream them.
