Our offered Diesel Particulate Filter is an oxidation catalyst part, which can efficiently purify the diesel engine emission (reduce the discharge of CO and HC), and carry on an efficient oxidation reaction to soluble organic matter (SOF) from the diesel exhaust particles, particulate purifying rate can reach 50%~90%.
Particles discharged from the diesel engine are firstly collected in the internal slender pores or at the entrance, as time continue, accumulation layer get thickened, the pressure loss increase so in order to ensure the performance of the engine, when the pressure loss reaches a certain value, the filter must be regenerated. The filter regeneration refers to enkindle the particulate by increasing the temperature of the gas of the particle filter; the properties of the particulate from the emission of diesel engine are relative to the oxygen concentration, usually the particulate get burning at 550 to 650 degrees Celsius. Generally we increase the exhaust temperature by adjust throttle value, use a burner to raise the temperature of the gases, use catalyst to reduce the ignition temperature of the particulate, by this way, the accumulated particulate can be burned soon, and the pressure loss can be recovered, the filter function can be restored, accordingly the filter can be regenerated.
