The filter regeneration refers to enkindle the particulate by increasing the temperature of the gas of the particle filter; the properties of the particulate from the emission of diesel engine are relative to the oxygen concentration, usually the particulate get burning at 550 to 650 degrees Celsius. Generally we increase the exhaust temperature by adjust throttle value, use a burner to raise the temperature of the gases, use catalyst to reduce the ignition temperature of the particulate, by this way, the accumulated particulate can be burned soon, and the pressure loss can be recovered, the filter function can be restored, accordingly the filter can be regenerated.
