Electrostattic Oil Depositor For ETP/TFS
Electrostattic Oil Depositor For ETP/TFS
Suzhou Trioa E & M Co., Ltd
The Vertical Electrostatic Oil Depositor (VEOD) was designed to apply a very thin lubricant coating on the surfaces of metal strip material as it passes through the oiler. The accuracy and reliability of this equipment has led to its use by major producers of electroplated steel and aluminum throughout the world.
The Trion Vertical Electrostatic Oil Depositor consists of three main sections:
Tank Section:
Contains the oil reservoirs, nozzle mounting panels and the air
plenums into which the controlled air flow is piped.
Electrostatic Charging Section:
The ionizer cartridges are located in
this area. The cartridges are removable for ease in cleaning and servicing.
Repelling Plate Section:
Houses the repelling plates which aid in depositing the charged oil mist on the strip.
Simplified Operation
Desired oil coating weights are easily entered into the process controller, eliminating the need for charts and graphs.
Process controller can be programmed to reflect preferred units of measurement.
Oiling process is easily monitored by using the selectable display screens on the process controller, eliminating the use of manometers to operate this equipment.
Operating and adjustments can be controlled from a conveniently located Operator Console. At the same time, separate High Voltage and Main Control Cabinets may be remotely located.
Reduced Maintenance
No motor controlled valves.
Use of printed circuit boards and discrete components has been minimized.
Troubleshooting procedures are minimized with the use of process controller diagnostics.
Obsolete control systems, using components that are no longer available, have been replaced with current technology.
Higher Efficiency
Response time has been reduced to four seconds from minimum oiling conditions to maximum, or maximum to minimum.
The system allows for improved distribution of oil over the length of the strip during line speed changes.
Secondary air turbo blower operates at greatly reduced speeds, cutting maintenance costs, trimming energy consumption and decreasing noise pollution.
Minimized components and modern design reduce the downtime required for maintenance and repairs.
Optional Equipment Heating Circulating System
When using high viscosity oils, a 379 liter (100 gallons) Heating Circulating System is available to heat the oil and continuously circulate to and from the oiler cabinet tank section. It is supplied with heater and pump motor controls, prepiped and prewired. A liquid level sight gauge is supplied to maintain a constant level in the oiler tank section. Liquid level switches are provided to signal the need for adding oil to this tank.
