What is an Energy Storage System?

Energy Storage System is a device which stores power generated by a power plant, and transmits energy when needed. It is a system for
charging electricity in high capacity, and discharges when electricity is required. It consists of a Battery, PCS (Power Conditioning System),
BMS (Battery Management System), PMS (Power Management System), etc. Recently, it is becoming more and more involved with
our everyday lives, due to dispersed generation to respond to blackouts, stable supply of new renewable energy sources, electric cars, etc.
