Mayo Clinic: Tackling Problematic Sinusitis 2024
Mayo Clinic's Tackling Problematic Sinusitis 2024 course is in its eleventh year. The course is taught by world-class Mayo Clinic faculty who are joined by several global experts. This highly-rated and well-attended course is one of the most prestigious CME activities in the field of rhinology. It provides a comprehensive update on tackling problematic chronic sinusitis as well as other difficult-to-manage rhinologic diagnosis. The course also focuses on new data and progress made in the management of chronic rhinosinusitis. Learners can expect a comprehensive curriculum that covers updates and advances in pathophysiology, office-based procedures, medical therapeutics, new biologics, management of problematic epistaxis from hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, management of septal perforations, as well as Sino nasal tumors and CSF leaks. Personalized medical and surgical strategies that help optimize outcomes are discussed. Techniques covered include repair of cerebrospinal fluid leaks and skull base defects, management of sinonasal tumors, septal perforation repair, injection sclerotherapy for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, as well as primary and revision sinus surgery.
