‘Nexus’: The Corpo-técnicho Conference aims to provide holistic insight into the corporate world through a full-fledged event featuring Keynote speeches. About the speaker: Dr Bhaskar Ghosh is Accenture’s chief strategy officer, responsible for the company’s strategy and investments, including ventures and acquisitions. He also oversees the development of all assets and offerings across Accenture’s Services. In addition, Bhaskar is the management sponsor for Accenture’s Responsible Business & Sustainability Services and Industry X business, which includes digital manufacturing and intelligent products and platforms. He is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

He has a stunning 18 years of experience in Accenture, where he contributed through various roles.

What are business technologies?
Business Technology as a concept describes all technology that helps an organization run its business and operational processes. That technology can be customer-facing applications and solutions, business-critical production and logistics solutions, or back-office financial systems, among others. The primary role of technology in business is to drive growth and improve operations.

Mr Yusuf Roopawalla started as an IT analyst in the Standard Chartered bank and then rose through the ranks to become CIO. He is responsible for business partnership and maintaining the Bank's Technology infrastructure capability. He also supports the business activities across the business segments. He has helped to grow the company in various aspects by 28 years of contribution. He has vast experience in leading Technology Teams and strategy for Banking, Project and Program governance, Payment Industry and Systems, ATM and Credit Card Technology, Technology Standard, and Best Practices. He also leads technology teams that Develop and Implement Trading Systems, Banking Technology Regulatory and Risk Management, Core Banking Systems Management, Electronic Trading Platforms, and Process engineering and re-engineering, M&A Technology Integration.
