Rotary Club Arlington Heights
Organizer Details
The Rotary Club of Arlington Heights(RCAH) holds the Santa Run every year to raise funds. Where do these funds go? Locally, the RCAH awards grants to Arlington Heights organizations that meet the needs of our young, elderly, disadvantaged, and special needs community. This year, our focus has largely been on helping people in our community who have been impacted by COVID-19. As an example, we’ve supported food pantries in Arlington Heights and Palatine and provided sanitation buckets through Northwest Community Hospital to under resourced COVID patients discharged from the hospital. Internationally, in addition to working to eradicate polio, Rotary has donated over $20 million to COVID-19 relief projects around the world.
We would like to thank everyone who supports the RCAH through our Santa Run event. We couldn’t do all of this without you. If you are interested in becoming a member, the RCAH meets every Thursday from 12:00PM until 1:15 PM at Palm Court Restaurant (1912 N. Arlington Heights Rd.) and we always welcome new members.
